1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user’s device, where they are stored and sent back to the same sites on the next visit. They fall into two groups:
- technical (necessary) cookies — used to make the site work or to remember the user’s choices; they do not require consent;
- third-party and profiling cookies — set by parties other than the site owner (for example when maps or external content are embedded) or used to track users for advertising purposes; they require the user’s prior consent.
2. Cookies used by this website
This website does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools, whether its own or from third parties. The site only uses:
- necessary technical cookies and local storage — any technical cookies set by the hosting provider (security and load balancing) and the local storage (localStorage) of the choice made on the cookie banner, so that it is not shown again on every visit;
- third-party content subject to consent — the interactive Google Maps map in the Contact section. The map is blocked by default: the Google iframe is only loaded after the user has given consent (from the banner or by enabling it directly); only from that moment can Google set its own cookies. As an alternative, the external link “Get directions” is always available and opens Google Maps in a new tab without setting cookies on this site.
The PayTourist booking engine is not embedded in this website: it is reached via an external link and does not set cookies on these pages. The provider’s own privacy notice applies on its website.

4. How to manage your preferences
- From the site banner — on your first visit you can choose “Accept”, “Reject” or “Customise”. You can change your choice at any time using the link, also available in the footer.
- From your browser — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Disabling technical cookies may affect the correct functioning of the site. Refusing consent to third-party content does not limit your browsing: the map is simply replaced by a placeholder.
